Stayed one night for business.
Stayed one night for business. Its location next to Paddington station is so convenient. The staff, including security, were really friendly and helpful. I was able to store my baggage there before and after my stay, which was very useful. I also appreciated the touches in the room itself, especially complementary small drinks, including Prosecco! The room was small but had a great view of Praed Street, once I’d worked out how to operate the stiff blinds.
The hospitality from the hotel staff
I recently stayed at Mercure Paddington and was incredibly impressed with the hospitality from the hotel staff, but especially from Simon and Frank. They went above and beyond to make my stay feel like home, from the cozy room amenities and providing extra pillows to mailing a postcard on my behalf. Their kindness and attention to detail made my visit memorable, and I am grateful for their exceptional care. Highly recommend!

Clean comfortable and the BEST location.
Lovely staff at front door and reception counter. Clean and comfortable. Perfectly located. Extremely close to Paddington Station, literally right beside it. No taxi needed.
Very convenient and close to Paddington station
It was very convenient and close to Paddington station. There was a step from the outside to the front desk, but the kind Abdul helped me carry my luggage to the front desk. He was very friendly throughout and made our stay enjoyable. There are two flights of stairs from the front desk to the elevator, which is a little difficult, but other than that, there are no problems, and I think it's a good idea for a Japanese business hotel (it's near the station and along the main street, so there's quite a bit of noise from trains and cars. However...) In addition to tea and coffee, water and cola were free. You can get toothbrushes, cotton pads, shower caps, shavers, and sewing sets at the front desk. It was nice to have a kettle and mini fridge. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
