Perfect location for a walking visit to London
Location at Paddington was perfect with the uncertainties related to travel. Breakfast was good. Room was cool and quiet.
The location of the hotel was great. The team working at Reception were amazing.
Reception staff were amazing
Very Good
needed proximity to Paddington station
Very Good
The hotel looked like it had been recently renovated. The rooms were clean and tidy. There was complimentary drinks and also a hot drinks machine that could be used for free in the lobby.

Great location and great staff.
The staff were excellent. They answered several emails efficiently prior to arrival. Room was small and price per night a little excessive.
Our stay at Mecure Paddington.
Had an absolute wonderful stay. An amazingly convenient location for both Paddington Station (next to it) and for accessibility to all areas of London. The hotel is well equipped, clean, neat and tidy, loved the complimentary beverages and snacks in the lobby area. The staff were wonderful very welcoming friendly and efficient. I would not hesitate to stay again.
Great location, GOOD (rather than 'very good') hotel!
I last stayed here pre pandemic and I think this was my 5th time. I choose it because of the access to the new Elizabeth line, Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith lines on the Underground, Greater Western Railway (which I take to Chippenham each year) and 15mins direct from LHR on the Heathrow Express.
There are Santander bike hubs nearby, the no. 7 bus out front does a useful route to Portobello Rd/Oxford Street. It's an easy walk to Little Venice canals, Hyde Park and Kensington Park.
I know from experience that if you aren't in a King Executive ($$) the rooms are very small. I love the pod coffee machine as it saves me from dressing and going out while I work online in the mornings.
The rooms were clean. The air con (which was needed during the hot/humid spell) was noisy and ineffective. Opening the window/s = noise, particularly because there's some serious construction going on next door.
There's a choice of pillow types. It's an English thing to have a doona/quilt/duvet on the bed but no top sheet, so when it's warm and stuffy, I ask for one so that I can have a light cover. They look at me oddly but they provide it!
The wifi is not strong or fast which is a drawback if you are working.
After you log on the first time, it regularly forgets you so even though my laptop was left in the room, I had to re-log in regularly. I had to do this on my iPhone every time I re-entered the room. Boring ... surely this could be fixed.I had a few glitches with my booking but this wasn't the hotel's fault. Sabrine at the front desk was excellent and sorted things out for me. The other staff were OK.
They offer bag storage and this is very helfpul.
For the first time I had one night that included a breakfast set menu. I chose the healthiest option and a proper coffee, which they thankfully didn't charge me extra for (because I was saying 'no' to most of the other inclusions).
If I was going to London for leisure, with my husband, as opposed to solo for business, I wouldn't choose to stay here.
