Friendly staff and ideal location
As others have said the rooms aren't spectacular and there is noise from the construction site next door. But this hotel is friendly and has a happy vibe. It gets the small things right like replenishing water and soft drinks every day and provides a good breakfast in the restaurant next door and a welcome drink for Accor members. Paddington is handy to everywhere especially with the new Elizabeth line so the location is superb and the area feels safe. Maybe brighter lights in the bathroom for make-up purposes and softer pillows would be good but overall a very solid choice.

You can bring your own drinks or sweets from the lobby. Cappuccino is so delicious.
Staff when above and beton
The staff when above and beyond . I had pants and a shirt sent out to be pressed ahead of a furneral service for my uncle this were delayed by the contract the staff took steps to help ensure I was able to dress for the event

Location at Paddington was perfect with the uncertainties related to travel. Breakfast was good. Room was cool and quiet.

The hotel looked like it had been recently renovated. The rooms were clean and tidy. There was complimentary drinks and also a hot drinks machine that could be used for free in the lobby.
